Step 01
Connect the cameras
A small connector sits on site beside your recorder and reads the streams you already have. No new hardware on the walls.
Your site already has the cameras. Tell Skopein what matters — in plain words — and it watches for it around the clock, then sends the clip that proves it.
01The gap
Every industrial site is already covered in cameras. They record faithfully and they are reviewed almost never — so footage becomes something you scrub through after an injury, a theft or a shutdown. The camera saw it. It just had no way to say so.
Recording that continues whether or not a single human is looking at it.
When footage is finally opened, the incident has already cost what it was going to cost.
A recorder cannot raise its hand. It has no idea what you care about.
02How it works
Step 01
A small connector sits on site beside your recorder and reads the streams you already have. No new hardware on the walls.
Step 02
Type what should never happen: “anyone in the bay without a hard hat.” That sentence becomes a live detection. No training, no data science.
Step 03
Motion on site cuts a short clip. The clip is examined against your rule — the whole event, not a lucky frame.
Step 04
An alert reaches the right person in seconds — with the clip, the time, the camera and the reason attached.
03The console
Pick a rule and watch the frame lock. This is the whole product: a sentence in, a decision out, evidence attached. Add a new detection tomorrow by writing another sentence.

04What people watch for
M-01 · Safety
Hard hats, hi-vis, gloves — flagged the moment someone steps into a zone without them.
M-04 · Traffic
A forklift crossing a walking aisle, or a person on foot inside a vehicle lane.
M-03 · Zones
Anyone entering a marked zone — permanently, or only outside working hours.
M-05 · Housekeeping
Liquid on the floor, a pallet parked in front of a fire exit, a blocked aisle.
M-06 · Security
Motion in the yard at 02:00, a gate left open, a vehicle that shouldn't be there.
M-02 · Process
If a person could spot it on a screen, write it as a sentence and Skopein will watch for it.
05Evidence
No ambiguous pings. A Skopein alert carries the clip, the camera, the timestamp and the reason it fired — so the person receiving it can judge in five seconds and act, or dismiss it and move on.

06What it will not do
Anyone promising a system that never misses is selling you something. Here is exactly where the edges are — in writing, before you buy.
Latency
The clip is captured the instant motion starts, but judgement takes a few seconds. Skopein is for detection, evidence and response — not for physically stopping someone mid-step.
Coverage
Detail across a large yard, or an angle pointed at the wrong aisle, will be missed. We survey placement before we quote.
Recall
Skopein catches the large majority of what you ask for and records the rest for review. We would rather say that now than defend a number later.
Privacy
Skopein watches work — actions, zones, equipment. Short clips leave your site, never a continuous stream, and your footage stays yours.
07The system
Not a box you are left to configure. We install it on your site, teach it what matters to you, and hand over something that is already working on your cameras.
01 · The connector
A small box joins your network and reads the cameras you already own. Nothing new on the walls, no rewiring, no cloud account for your footage.
02 · The watching
You describe what should never happen, in a sentence. Skopein checks every event against it, through every shift, without anyone watching a screen.
03 · The proof
Every alert arrives with the clip, the camera, the time and the reason it fired — so the person receiving it can judge in seconds and act.
What it costs
There is no per-camera meter and no monthly bill to watch. We look at how many cameras you have and what you need watched, then quote the system as one price. Tell us about your site and we will come back with a number.
Book a demo and we will run Skopein against a camera on your own site, live, with your own rule. You see exactly what it catches before anything is installed.
